Hello, I'm Rachel

I'm excited (and a bit nervous) to say that 2025 marks the start of my new journey as a Midlife Digital Nomad.  I'm not exactly sure what I will be doing yet but have a few ideas in mind! 

Because I have travelled solo in central America and Asia, and what I love most is meeting other midlife women doing the same - sharing stories, a meal, or even accommodation (yes! I do stay in hostels sometimes ;)  this got me thinking about finding properties I could rent and share the experience and the cost with other fellow female midlife travellers.

So for those of you looking for a short solo break and temporary house share with a couple of other like minded women, then this is a great opportunity to come join me and try it out.

 

My first 'home' for 2025 is a cute house with Moorish courtyard in Ardales, a beautiful small white town (puebla blanca) in Andalusia, just 1 hr by bus from Malaga. It has hiking trails, wild swimming lakes , if you're brave and for the really adventurous the Caminito del Rey. 

 

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, nice size dining area and cosy sitting room with fireplace for the colder evenings plus sun terraces. I will be in one room, renting the other one or two out. Only one solo lady traveller per room - so we will be maximum three women in total - meaning there is plenty of space to spread out and find a quiet spot to work/read/chill, to have meals together and relax by the fire.

* It is fine if you don't plan to work, but, whilst there will be plenty of sociable time together, it is important to respect that others may need quiet space for some periods during the day.​​​​​​​​​
